Whole Cooked Lobster

A single premium Irish pot-caught lobster, steamed on landing for exceptional sweetness and texture. Delivered fully cooked and ready to serve cold or warm. Perfect for Christmas or any special occasion.

Serves 1–2.


Serving Ideas

  • As a starter:
    Simply split the lobster in half and serve with lemon and mayo.

  • As a main course:
    Serve the lobster whole with warm butter, salad, or chips.

  • As a lobster cocktail:
    Break the lobster down, chop the meat, and fold through a light Marie Rose or yuzu mayo for an elevated cocktail.

  • For an incredible sauce or bisque:
    Keep the shells. Roast them lightly, then simmer with shallots, garlic, tomato, white wine, and stock. Reduce and strain for a rich, deeply flavoured lobster sauce or bisque.


How to Serve or Heat

Cold:
Split or break down the lobster and serve with lemon, mayo, or melted butter.

Warm:
Place on a lined tray and heat gently until warm.
Avoid overcooking.

How to Eat Your Lobster

1. Tail

Twist to remove. Crack the shell, pull out the whole tail, slice or leave whole.

2. Claws

Twist off. Crack the large claw with a cracker, pull out the meat. Remove the pincer and extract the sweet knuckle meat.

3. Legs

Twist off each leg. Suck or press the meat out, or use a pick.

4. Body

Split lengthwise and pick out the pockets of meat. Discard stomach sac and gills.

5. Serve

Finish with lemon, melted butter, or your preferred dip.
